Shopping with is eGears absolutely safe - you never have to worry about credit card safety when you are shopping with us. We guarantee that each purchase you make is protected and safe. If fraudulent charges are ever made, you will not have to pay for them.
RETURN POLICY
eGears offers an exchange and refund policy on must items. Some products cannot be returned under any circumstances. Please refer to our Return Policy Exceptions for further details. We maintain a database of the serial numbers of all items sold. If a returned item's serial number does not match the serial number of the actual item sold, it will be considered as "product swapping". We take this type of fraud very seriously. Legal action will be taken against violators.
Here are the terms governing all returns:
1. Merchandise listed in the Return Policy Exceptions will not be accepted
2. Merchandise can only be returned within the first 10 days of receipt of package, and only after a RMA ( Return Merchandise Authorization) number is obtained. Returns with no RMA number will be refused. RMA number must be clearly visible on the package.
3. Returns must be shipped to the address provided with the RMA number. Returns mailed elsewhere, including the contact address published on our website will be refused.
4. Returns must be in original mint resaleable condition, as previously received, including the item box, packaging and all accessories. If applicable, software configuration of the product must be in its original setup. Any additional software installed afterwards must be removed. All forms including warranty cards must be intact, unaltered, and unfilled.
5. Items returned for credit will be subject to 15% restocking fee.
6. If the return is accepted, and discovered that the product is registered with the manufacturer, or warranty exercised a 20% restocking fee will apply.
7. If the return is accepted, and upon inspection, the device had to be recovered to its original software configuration, a 20% restocking fee will apply.
8. If the return is accepted, and upon inspection, its discovered that additional effort is necessary to recover the item and its accessories to their original condition, a 20% restocking fee will apply.
9. Returns with missing parts may be refused. If accepted, a nominal fee for the missing item(s) will be charged, in addition to a 20% restocking fee.
10. Customer shall notify the carrie of any damage incurred during the transit immediately.
11. Original shipping and handling is not refundable. The cost of shipping the returned item is the responsibility of the customer.
12. If a merchandise with "free shipping" is returned, a shipping and handling fee for a comparable size item will be charged in addition to the restocking fee.
RETURN POLICY EXCEPTIONS
Once opened following items cannot be returned for exchange or credit. Customer must return all defective units back to the manufacturer for repair or replacement.

5. Home DVD Players
6. Car Audio/Stereos
7. Recordable media, such as memory card an sticks
8. Batteries
Once the return is received and inspected, a refund will be processed. .
RESTRICTIONS
Typically, manufacturer's standard warranty does not cover damages caused through accidents, misuse, lack of care, the attachment or installation of any components that were not provided with the product, loss of parts, connecting the product to a power supply, input signal voltage or connector type other than specified, or wrongly polarized batteries. In particular, no responsibility is granted for special, incidental or consequential damages.
This warranty becomes void if servicing or repairs of the product are performed by any party other than an authorized manufacturer service centers or if the product has been opened in a manner other than specified in this manual. No other warranty, written or verbal, is authorized by eGears. Except as otherwise stated in this warranty, EGears makes no representation or warranty of any kind, expressed or implied in law or in fact, including, without limitation, merchandising or fitting for any particular purpose and assumes no liability, either in tort, strict liability, contract or warranty for products.
REPAIR
In case of malfunction, take, or ship prepaid, your eGears product to the authorized manufacturer service center. Generally, you will need to request an RMA from the manufacturer prior to returning the item. Transit damages are not covered by this warranty.
